Layer attribute groups

With the help of layer attribute groups, you have the option during project setup to sort attributes into groups so that they can later be displayed in an organized and clearly separated way in NET Cloud.

 

 

Creating layer attribute groups

Creating new layer attribute groups can only be done in the Administration area and therefore requires admin rights on the respective NET Cloud instance. See: Administration area.

In the administration area, use the menu item “Layer Attribute Groups” to access the page where these can be managed. Depending on the screen size, this menu item may only be available via the dropdown behind the three-line icon on the right-hand side.Screenshot 2024-05-08 114413.png

In the overview, the user can now add a new layer attribute group by clicking the “Add new record” button. During this process, the name, title, icon, order, background color, and whether the attribute group should be expanded by default are defined.

Assign attributes to layer attribute groups

The newly added attribute groups can be assigned to attributes in the attribute settings.

In the layer settings under the “Attributes” menu item, the attribute group can be selected directly in the table view and saved. To do this, the user can click into a cell in the “Attribute group” column for the desired attribute and select one of the previously created attribute groups from a dropdown.

Alternatively, attribute groups can also be selected within the attribute detail settings.
