When you open AutoCAD for the first time, you will have to do some settings. In this article we will show you which settings we recommend and how it might look like.
If Autodesk Map 3D is opened for the first time it will perform some configuration tasks. Please wait until these are done.
Workspace selection
When the configuration tasks are done, Autodesk Map 3D opens and asks you to select your default workspace. If you like to work with NET please select the "Maintenance Workspace". In case you selected the wrong workspace or want to use another default workspace, you will find a short summary how to change the workspace in this article.
Licence selection
The next step is to choose your type of licencing. In most of the cases please select "login with your Autodesk-ID". If you are unsure which type of licencing is in use, please contact your administrator.
