The integration of Cyclomedia survey data is available in the NET modules Engineering, Design and the Field Survey data model. The functionality is the same in all modules listed.
A direct contract with Cyclomedia is required to use the Cyclomedia integration.
The functionalities of Cyclomedia Integration are summarized on a separate tab “Cyclomedia”.
Note for customers with customized installers
The Cyclomedia integration is not automatically provided in the customized installers. If you want to use the integration, you can contact our support to activate the Cyclomedia integration in your installer
Procedure for working with the Cyclomedia integration
After opening a corresponding project, switch to the “Cyclomedia” tab
Step 1 - Making Cyclomedia settings
First open the “Settings” dialog box
To use the Cyclomedia integration, you need a contract with Cyclomedia. You can obtain the settings for 1-3 from Cyclomedia.
The size of the triangle (4), which controls the visible window section in the Cyclorama, can be changed. Test which settings work best for you.
Confirm the settings with “Ok”.
Step 2 - Open Cyclorama
Via the “Cyclorama” button
opens the window with the access data
By clicking on the navigation support points (1 and 2 light green), you can move through the navigation data and use the mouse to rotate your view or zoom into the image.
Cyclorama-Window and NET Project
Section (1) shows the Cyclorama view window, section (2) shows the corresponding section from the NET project. The dark green dot in (2) shows the current position of the Cyclorama view.
This is possible,
- change the position via the control points in the Cyclorama window or
- to move the dark green viewpoint in the NET Engineering project, window (2) to any position. The view in the Cyclorama window is updated.
Step 3 - Display planning data from the NET project in the Cyclorama window
The “Overlay” button activates the display of the NET project data in the Cyclorama window.
All layers that are selected in the NET display model are displayed in the Cyclorama window. The screenshot shows the Cyclorama window on the left and the section in the NET project on the right

Click on Object information
Select a NET object such as the planned cabinet (1).
Click on the “Open Map3d form” button (2) to open the form of the object in the NET project for more details.
