Surface data is provided by service providers from surveys or aerial flights.
The object class "surface" represents the surface within a defined polygon. The segment-type used for "street-centerlines" and "possible-trenches" is used here as “surface”.
This surface information can be imported into a NET Design project via the "Import" function. It is also possible to digitize the surfaces manually.
Preprocessing transfers the surface information from the polygon to the possible-trences.
The name of the object class for integration into the representation model, for example, is TC_PL_SURFACE_AREA.
