Import Geopackage

If ‘Geopackage’ was selected as the source type, a corresponding file must be opened.

The tables contained in the data are displayed and must then be selected:

According to the data, further settings are displayed that must be selected:

1. The source type ‘Geopackage’ has been selected from the drop-down list.
2. The source file has been loaded.
3. The selected table is displayed.
4. The number of records found is displayed.
5. A previously saved import template can be loaded.
6. The object type into which the data is to be imported must be selected as the target object class.

7. Once all settings have been defined, click the ‘Next’ button to proceed to the next page of settings.
8. Click the ‘Close’ button to close the dialogue box. This will cancel the import.

In the import settings (2/4), you must first specify whether records from the source file should be imported or updated.

Import

When importing, no further specifications need to be made on this page; simply click the button to continue.

The attribute mappings are defined in the import settings (3/4):

The attributes of the object from the source can be assigned to those of the target object class. With the ‘Data preview’ button Button_Datenvorschau.png you can check in advance which values are available in the data records and how they will be transferred:

The target object class can be opened using the Button_Formular Zielobjektklasse öffnen.png button.

Filter conditions can be specified on the next page of the import settings:

The import is started with the ‘Import’ button:

Update

The option ‘Update records’ can also be selected in the import settings (2/4).

It is possible to specify whether the geometries should be updated and which attributes should be used for data synchronisation.

Once the import/update is complete, a query appears asking whether the import settings should be saved in a template file.
