Hints for using Postgres and Oracle databases at the same time

There might be the usecase, that you want to use a PostgresSQL database as well as an Oracle database. If you want to use the AutoCAD integrated automation (IMBatch.exe) as well, there might be trouble if you use both databases.

You can use the following setting, to fix this issue:

  1. Open Windows Registry
  2. Navigate to the following key:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\ObjectDBX\RXX.0\AssemblyMap
    Please replace the "XX" with the affected Autodesk Version.
  3. In the standard entry, please add the following path: "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 20XX"
    Replace the "XX" with the fitting version of the affected AutoCAD installation, please.
  4. If the error still occurs, we would ask you, to add another path, before you write an enquiry. Please add the same path as in point three, but followed by a "\Map".
