ONT

A new object class ‘ONT’ is available from NET 15 onwards. This is used to map the optical network termination in the building or building unit. This allows the logical fibre connection in the building to be mapped correctly.

The ONT is generated from the building or building unit and is therefore assigned to either the building or the building unit.

The ONT can be specified via the ONT type.

The ONT does not require its own geometry.

In the fibre optic connection editor, the connection between one or more couplings in the fibre optic building termination can be created to the ONT.

1	Name, ONT-ID, Typ	Der Name und die ONT-ID des ONT wird angezeigt oder kann eingegeben werden.  Der ONT-Typ wird angezeigt bzw. kann über das Pulldown-Menü ausgewählt werden. Über einen Doppelklick in das Listenfeld öffnet sich das Detailformular zur Verwaltung der verschiedenen ONT-Typen.
2	Zuordnung des ONT zum Gebäude oder einer Gebäude-Einheit	Ein ONT kann genau einem Gebäude oder einer Gebäude-Einheit zugeordnet sein. Über den Button öffnet sich das Formular des Gebäudes/Gebäudeeinheit des aktuellen Datensatzes. Über den Button  öffnen sich die Formulare der Gebäude/Gebäudeeinheiten aller ONT-Datensätze im Filter.
3	Sprungbutton zu den verbundenen Kupplungen	Über den Button gelangt man zu den Kupplungen, mit denen der aktuelle ONT-Datensatz verbunden ist. Über den Button   öffnen sich die Formulare der Kupplungen aller ONT-Datensätze im Filter.

Create an ONT

An ONT is created directly from the building or building unit.

Creating an ONT for a building

• Open the form for the relevant building.
• Switch to the detailed form for the building ONT (1).
• Use the   button (2) to create a new ONT data record.
• Fill in the attributes as required. 

Creating an ONT for a building unit

To create an ONT for a building unit, first switch from the relevant building to the building unit (1).

Then proceed as described for buildings by creating a new data record using the icon (1).
