Setting up Feature Search

The “Feature Search” function allows you to quickly and easily determine the location of a specific object, such as a building, plot or another Industry Model feature that has geometry. The detected geometry forms the center point of a graphical creation or a zoom process of the “Go to” type.

There are three types of definitions for finding features:

  • Flat search: In a flat search, you enter the known information about the position you are looking for (e.g., cluster)
  • Sequential search: A sequential search improves the search at each subsequent layer. At the end, you will receive the desired object (e.g., city > ZIP code > street > house number)
  • PlugIn search: Retrieves pre-programmed feature searches
