Two selected ducts are combined using the “Join ducts” workflow. This takes over the properties and assignments of the first selected duct.
Procedure
Start the workflow in Workflow Explorer > Duct workflows > Join ducts by double-clicking it, from the context menu or by clicking the button in the lower right area of the workflow explorer:

The workflow for joining ducts opens:
1. You can choose whether only ducts of the same type and with the same assignment can be joined. If this option is not enabled, the duct whose properties are to be adopted must first be selected in the map.
2. You can choose how the feature selection for the first duct is to be made:
a) The duct can be selected in the map.
b) The segment with the desired duct can be taken from the form.
c) The duct can be taken from the form.
3. The entries can be added or removed.
4. The selected ducts and its child ducts, or the segment containing the selected duct, are displayed. The first duct can be selected.
5. All ducts that can be connected to the first duct are listed. You can select the second duct. Once selected, it will be highlighted in the map.
6. Click the "Run" button to join the ducts.
If the selected ducts do not have the same duct type, this is indicated. You can cancel the workflow at this point with “No”:

After carrying out the workflow, the new duct has the properties of the first selected duct and the geometry of both selected ducts.
Note
Only the properties and occupancies of the 1st duct selected by the user are adopted!
Please check the entries and fittings affected by the joining of the ducts for correctness!
