The workflow is used to check cable geometries and for the geometrically error-free assignment to segments and ducts.
Procedure
Start the workflow in Workflow Explorer > FO workflows > Verify FO cable geometries by double-clicking it, from the context menu or by clicking the button in the lower right area of the workflow explorer:
This will open the workflow for checking the cable geometry:
1. You can select how the feature selection is to be made.
a) The features to be checked can be selected in the map.
b) The segments of the FO cables to be checked can be filtered beforehand according to the desired criteria.
c) The ducts of the FO cables to be checked can be filtered beforehand according to the desired criteria.
d) The FO cables to be checked can be filtered beforehand according to the desired criteria.
e) The workflow can be carried out for the FO cables of all segments in the project.
f) The workflow can be carried out for the FO cables of all ducts in the project.
g) The workflow can be carried out for all FO cables in the project.
2. The entries can be added or removed.
The check is started by pressing the button.
3. The result is that the cables are displayed grouped by fault. The number of cables in each group is shown in brackets.
The cables are listed in the groups by name or FID:
4. Segments/ducts to which the cable is geometrically correctly assigned are grouped. The geometry error is located between the grouped segments/ducts. The position of the geometry error can be made visible by highlighting.
5. Within the groups, the segments/ducts are listed with name (a) or FID (b).

After the errors have been corrected and the workflow has been carried out again, no more cables are listed as a result.
