Checking the split ratio

The workflow is used to check split ratios when using splitters in FO networks.

Procedure

Start the workflow in Workflow Explorer > FO workflows > Check split ratio by double-clicking it, from the context menu or by clicking the button in the lower right area of the workflow explorer:

You will be asked to select a cable (if it cannot be selected in the graphic, you can also select it from the database):

This will open the workflow for checking the split ratio:

1. The selected cable is displayed.
2. You can activate the option for a lower split ratio.
3. The split ratio to be checked must be entered.
4. The workflow can be started or canceled.

Result

If the split ratio is complied with, the following message will appear:

If the tracing within the selected cable does not have the correct split ratio, the following message will appear:

The affected fibers can be displayed in the form.
