Objects can be provided with a tooltip.
In this section, a tooltip is to be created for an object of a layer (in this case “building”). A web page or a file is to be opened from the tooltip.
To do this, right-click on the relevant layer (in this case “Building”) and select “Set up tooltip”.
This will open the dialog for setting up a tooltip.
Select the entry “Expression” from the drop-down box under “Web address”.
This will open the dialog for editing printouts.
For example, enter the following in the window: https://www.google.com/.
Confirm with “OK” to accept the settings.
