In NET Engineering, users have the option of defining closure types themselves. The form is opened by double-clicking in the Type field in the FO terminator form or in Industry-Model Explorer > FO network > FO closure > FO closure type.

| Documents | Whether documents have been attached to the form is displayed. (10) |
| Assigned closures | The number of FO closures to which this type is assigned is displayed. Clicking on  lists all FO closures that use the current type. The  button displays all FO closures to which a type has been assigned in the filter. (11) |
