In NET Engineering, users have the option of defining closure types themselves. The form is opened by double-clicking in the Type field in the TP closure form or in Industry-Model Explorer > TP network > TP closure > TP closure type.

| Description | The description of the type can be entered here. (9) |
| Documents | Whether documents have been attached to the form is displayed. (10) |
| Assigned closures | The number of TP closures to which this type is assigned is displayed. Clicking on  lists all TP closures that use the current type. The  button displays all TP closures to which a type has been assigned in the filter. (11) |
