In NET Engineering, users have the option of defining loop types themselves. The form is opened by double-clicking in the Reserve type field in the TP Cable Loop form.

| Active | Only active loop types can be selected from the drop-down list in the detailed form for FO cable loops. (7) |
| Priority | A priority for the loop type can be assigned. (8) |
| Reserve cable | Clicking on lists all cable loops that use the current reserve cable type. The button shows all reserve cable to which a loop type has been assigned in the filter. (9) |
