Once DocPack has been configured, it can be run by anyone who has access to the required data (e.g., template files, display models, etc.).
Necessary default settings
Please use the commands explained below to set the default variables of your Map3D profile to the necessary values. These commands only need to be executed once per user.
Hide the frame around the texts in the text field
To do this, the command PDFSHX must be entered in the command line.
Set this value to “0”.
Hide a frame around a logo or image
To do this, run the IMAGEFRAME command.
Set this value to “0”.
Creating plot outputs
Open the “DocPack output” (the button can be found in the “NET” tab).
Open the previously saved settings of the DocPack.
You can specify whether the output path should be opened after completion.
It is also possible to fill the "Document management" with the generated plans or reports.
- Reports are assigned to their parent object class (the object class from which the report can be generated from the form).
- Plots and overviews are also assigned to the parent object.
- Duplicates are recognised: if the export was carried out twice in the same folder and the files were overwritten, no duplicate entries are linked in the document management.
- If the option is not activated in document management, the exported files are not linked.
Select the saved XML file that contains your settings.
Run the DocPack by clicking on the “Start” button.
The documents to be output can be deactivated separately by opening the individual templates:
The output of entire templates can also be deactivated:
Additional filters can be applied within the subtemplates:
Apply direct map filter | single objects can be selected in the graphic
Apply Polygon Map Filter | Objects located within a cluster can be selected by choosing the cluster in the graphic
Apply filter for page numbers | single pages or page ranges can be defined |
Note
If the "Polygon map filter" is used, only plot frames whose center point is located within the selected cluster are included. Since plot frames are point geometries, the location of this point is relevant.
Start output
Select a main output directory for the files and subfolders that DocPack creates.
Check the documents produced in the output directories when the DocPack is finished with the output.
