Transferring/removing aservice to/fromn network path

In each form, the user will find the Edit menu item in the upper part. Various workflows can be started depending on the element selected.

The Edit menu is required for transferring and removing services and is selected at the top of the forms:

The following options are available for transferring and removing services:

Transfer service to network path The service is transferred to the network path of the current record.
Transfer service to network path (filter) The service is transferred to the network path of all filtered records.
Remove service from network path The service is removed from the network path of the current record.
Remove service from network path (filter) The service is removed from the network path of all filtered records.


Services can be connected to the following elements and can be transferred from there to the network path (all connected objects):

  • Connector/pin
  • Fiber/wire
  • Patch
  • Patch fiber
  • Splitter path
  • Splice

Transfer service to network path

If you want to transfer a service from the current record to the network path, the connection overview opens:

The network path of the selected element to which the service is to be transferred is displayed. It is possible to cancel the process or to transfer the service to the network path.

Remove service from network path

If you want to remove a service from the network path via the current record, the connection overview opens:

The network path of the selected element from which the service is to be removed is displayed. It is possible to cancel the process or to remove the service from the network path.

Transferring or removing services to/from records in the filter

If you want to transfer or remove services to/from records in the filter, the following warning will appear:

At this point, you can decide whether you really want to transfer/remove the services to/from all network paths of the filtered records or to cancel the process.
