Version 1.0.8 makes scan photos significantly more informative: points and lines placed during a scan are now visible as overlays directly on the photos. Microsoft account sign-in is now supported. The update also includes several UI improvements — including an overhauled scan view for portrait mode and better iPad handling — as well as a number of bug fixes.
Note: This update requires a one-time password reset via the web portal. A notification banner will be shown in the browser on the login page.
New Features
Photo Markup Overlays
Points and lines drawn during a scan are now displayed as an overlay on the scan photos in the scan details. This makes it immediately clear which objects are documented in each photo.
Microsoft Login (SSO via Entra External ID)
NET Inhouse now supports sign-in via Microsoft accounts (OIDC / Microsoft Entra External ID). Users can log in with their existing Microsoft 365 credentials, without needing a separate password. Please note: SSO must first be configured in Microsoft Entra by your organization's IT administrator.
Improvements
Improved object highlighting and selection in the 3D view: selected elements during scanning are more clearly visible
Confirmation dialogs when deleting objects: prevents accidental removal of objects placed in the scan
Scan UI overhauled for portrait mode
Photos are automatically named with a timestamp when no custom title has been assigned
Edit and Delete buttons when selecting objects on the iPad are now shown side by side and no longer overlap the selection dropdown
The "Comment" field has been renamed to "Description" for consistency with the web portal
Building name or title: This is now displayed in the job list and job details instead of the address, making it easier to distinguish multiple jobs at the same location. The address will still be shown as a title if no title is set.
The "Determining Location" icon is now displayed in white instead of a misleading red
Bug Fixes
Fixed signature sync between multiple devices
