Release Notes 1.2.16

Version 1.2.16 focuses on performance and stability: scan restoration after tracking loss is improved, and scans now process faster. The update also adds a small number of new features and resolves several bugs.

New Features

  • Add title and description in the photo preview — When taking a photo, a title and description can now be entered directly in the preview — without having to open the details page afterwards.

Improvements & Optimizations

  • Scanning performance optimization — improved app restoration from tracking lost state.

  • Processing optimizations — scans are processing a bit faster now.

  • GNSS battery warning — A warning is now shown before starting a scan when the connected GNSS device's battery is below 20%.

  • Warning for flagged devices — When connecting to a known problematic device, the app shows a warning and directs the user to contact support.

  • Single points displayed above route points again — Points placed on a line are now correctly rendered above the route points.

  • Automatic timestamp naming for photos — Photos in scans are automatically named with a timestamp when no custom title has been assigned.

  • Button placement — Confirm button in markup details is now placed beside the delete button

Bug Fixes

  • Placing a point outside of its allowed range is no longer possible, out-of-range distance is being indicated correctly again

  • When opening NETScan from Deeplink, the processing screen remains readable in light mode

  • Fixed issue where two project with shared name and ID had the app open the wrong project on launch

  • Switching scans from unavailable project into an available project is now working consistently

  • Overlays on photo refresh correctly when deleting points/lines**
