This release adds existing scans and project data to the AR view, improves how positioning accuracy is displayed, and fixes issues with photos, markups, and manual positioning.
🚀 New Features
Previously scanned areas in the AR view: While scanning, areas already captured with this or another device are displayed.
Planning data in the AR view: Planned routes and available ALKIS data can be displayed during scanning.
Existing markups in current scans: Markups from previously processed scans appear at their locations. New markups can be aligned with them.
MBfD points during scanning: Available MBfD points are displayed alongside other external data.
Configurable AR layers: Projects can be configured to control which geospatial data appears in the AR view and how it is labeled and colored.
Configurable fast scanning mode: An optional mode supports faster capture, at the cost of lower texture quality and longer processing times.
🛠 Improvements and Optimizations
Clearer help text: Scanning guidance uses more familiar wording instead of technical tracking terms.
Localized number formats for markups: Numbers are displayed according to the selected language or region.
More meaningful positioning accuracy: The displayed accuracy takes the type of GNSS fix into account. With basic GPS, GST data is no longer used to imply misleading centimeter-level accuracy.
ALKIS data on the map: Available ALKIS data is no longer limited to projects with the telecom feature enabled.
Missing ALKIS layer (under QA review): If a project has no ALKIS layer, the map should open without an associated error message.
Files, photos, and scans as resource properties (under QA review): These attachments should be displayed on resources and be available to add during a site inspection.
Existing infrastructure in the AR view (epic in progress): This overarching work item covers the display of existing infrastructure data during scanning.
🐞 Bug Fixes
Markups after AR tracking is lost: Edit and delete buttons no longer remain visible when their associated markups are hidden.
Settings after signing out: Their availability no longer depends on the last project signed into.
Manual positioning: The first placed geopoint remains visible on the map while a second is selected.
Outdated RTK corrections: The accuracy display no longer shows a stale centimeter value when there is no valid RTK fix.
Photo titles during upload: A title changed immediately before upload is correctly sent to NET Cloud.
Photo viewing direction: When manual positioning with ARGeoLock is used, the viewing direction is transformed correctly along with the photo’s position.
Significant deviations during scanning (under QA review): Sessions with substantial spatial drift should be detected and rejected.
