Release Notes NET 15.3.3 (English)

Summary

NET 15.3.3 includes targeted enhancements and fixes for atesio integration, geometry validation, the planning assistant, TNIM, and redlining. The release adds support for defining specific pole types for atesio, server-side configurations for atesio STRATEGIC v2025, clearer grouping of geometry validation results, and improved bundle detection in the planning assistant.

Supported Software

  • Autodesk AutoCAD Map 3D

    • Autodesk AutoCAD Map 3D 2024.0.2 - Autodesk AutoCAD 2024.1.8

    • Autodesk AutoCAD Map 3D 2025.0.2 - Autodesk AutoCAD 2025.1.3

    • Autodesk AutoCAD Map 3D 2026.0.3 - Autodesk AutoCAD 2026.1.1

  • TKI PostgreSQL Provider 5.2 and later

  • Comsof Fiber Designer 2019.2.2 - Comsof Fiber Designer 22.2

  • Comsof Fiber 23.1 - Comsof Fiber 25.1

  • atesio STRATEGIC 2020 - 2025

  • TKI Lizenzierung 14.0
(Only required for a manual installation on the network license server)

The specified versions for Autodesk AutoCAD and Map 3D are the ones for which NET was developed. Generally, newer versions can also be used. However, there have been occasional updates in the past that caused crashes in NET.

Release NET 15.3.3 in Detail

NET Design

atesio Integration

  • Support for atesio STRATEGIC and NPV versions from 2020 to 2022 has been discontinued. These versions are no longer supported.

  • Users can now define specific pole types for atesio as part of the structure type configuration. This ensures that the “Above Ground” function runs without errors in projects that already contain poles of these types.

  • Support for server-side configurations has been implemented in the atesio settings for STRATEGIC v2025. Users can now flexibly choose in the settings dialog between a local configuration file and a configuration stored on the atesio server. When the server option is selected, a list of available configurations is loaded directly from the server and offered for selection. The selected configuration can then be used for preprocessing and network calculation.

NET Engineering

Workflows

  • The geometry validation results in the workflow are now grouped by error type. Groups without errors are hidden. The title of each group shows the number of errors it contains.

Planning and House Connection Assistant

  • When using the planning assistant, the number of bundles within a structure was not determined correctly under certain circumstances. This particularly affected cases in which outer ducts were counted multiple times or ducts were considered that did not terminate directly in the structure. Bundle detection has been adjusted so that only the outer ducts that actually terminate in the structure are counted once. This ensures correct assignment of the bundle number and consistent naming of ducts in network planning.

TNIM

  • An issue that could cause TNIM import validation to abort has been fixed.

Redlining

  • During redlining data transfer, all objects are now considered regardless of their status. The “Status of fixed objects” option is no longer available.
