NET Cloud allows you to access your network data via the URL https://www.netcloud.run/.
Logging in to NET Cloud
You can log in on the Welcome screen using your email and password.
For the first login, you must set a password. To do this, please click “here” and follow the instructions.
You will receive a link by email to set your password.
After logging in, the area map of the NET Cloud project you selected last will be displayed.
Map View
The map view includes the following areas:
- Settings (language settings, access to the administrator portal, user settings)
- Navigation bar (modules: Home / Network Planning / Map View – Ticket System – Project Management – Document Management)
- Display of the currently selected project and access to the project selector
- Access to selected module functions (here: functions for the Network Planning / Map View module)
- Sidebar for object-related interactions (properties, measuring tools, tickets, documents, external reports, projections, etc.) and the address search as well as object search
- Form for displaying the properties of the selected object (bold blue highlight)
- Map tools (zoom in/out, home, show GPS position, fullscreen mode)
- Drawing tools for new objects (line, rectangle, polygon, point) and split line
- Measurement tool for the map and printing the displayed map area
- View filters: selection of layers (legend) and map options
- Session manager: for saving the current session settings (map position and legend selection)
Project selection
The displays in the individual modules always refer to the selected project, which is shown directly under the navigation bar. You can work on multiple projects as a user. Switching between them can be done via “Change Project” and is possible in every module.
However, only projects for which you have permission will appear in the project list.
User settings
In the upper right area, the logged-in user is displayed. Via the associated dropdown menu you can open your user account and change or supplement your data.
In your user account, you can enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for logging in to the NET Cloud web portal if desired. You will need to generate and securely store a secret QR code. Please follow the instructions and pay special attention to the notes on the page.
