Attribute Description
Cable The name of the cable section to which the wire belongs is displayed. (1)
Cable type The cable type of the cable section to which the wire belongs is displayed. Clicking on the mceclip2.png button opens the line form of the current cable section. Clicking on the mceclip1.png button highlights the cable section in the graphic. (2)
Wire number The first field indicates the number of the wire. The second field shows the name of the wire, defined according to the Name scheme. (3)
Service The service connected to the wire is displayed or can be selected from a drop-down list using mceclip7.png. Double-clicking on the list box opens the detailed form for managing services. (4)
Type The wire type to which the wire has been assigned is displayed or can be selected from a drop-down list using mceclip7.png. Double-clicking on the list box opens the detailed form for managing the wire types. It also shows whether it is an A-wire or B-wire, as well as whether it is a single or double wire. (5)
Start point
End point
The point (splice) in which the wire starts (start point) or ends (end point) is displayed and described in terms of the feature class and name of the point in which the splice is located. (6)
Wire data The data managed in the line form for the wire are displayed here. Information for the wire can be stored. (7)
Details A specific attenuation for the fiber is displayed or can be stored. (8)
The length of the wire is shown. If no user length has been entered in the line form, the length determined by CAD is displayed. If a user length was known and this was entered in the line form, then this length is displayed as wire length.
The mceclip2.png button opens the following information window:
mceclip2.png
The wire length and calculated attenuation are listed. The magnitude of the attenuation can vary depending on the frequency. (9)
Color The color of the wire is specified. (10)
Documents This displays whether documents have been attached to the form. (11)

Menu items

A Connection Overview can be displayed via “Network exploration”.

Various workflows can be started via the “Edit” menu.

mceclip3.png

1. The numbers of the wires of the cable section can be changed.
2. The designations of the wires of the cable section can be changed.
3. A service can be transferred to the network path starting from the wire.
4. A service can be transferred to the corresponding network paths starting from the wires in the filter.
5. A service can be removed from the network path starting from the wire.
6. A service can be removed from the corresponding network paths starting from the wires in the filter.

The TP Connection Plan can be opened, the total length of the filtered wires can be calculated, and the Endings overview and the forms for the generated labels can be opened via the “Overviews/Reports” menu.
