Cabinet

Tabs

Users can find all the information about the cabinet in the “General” home tab. They have the option of selecting a type and the positional accuracy for a more detailed description of the cabinet.

Attribute Description
Name The name of the point is displayed. Clicking on the mceclip1.png button opens the point form for the current cabinet or, with mceclip2.png, for all objects in the filter. (1)
Type This is where a type can be assigned to the cabinet. Clicking on the mceclip3.png button opens the selection of all defined cabinet types. Double-clicking in the list box opens the form for the cabinet type. (2)
State The status assigned to the cabinet in the point form is displayed. (3)
Precision The positional accuracy can be assigned to the cabinet. Clicking on the mceclip3.png button opens the selection of all defined positional accuracies. Double-clicking in the list box opens the form for precision. (4)
Connections Trenches that start or end at the cabinet are displayed. A tree view shows which ducts or cables are assigned to the trenches and whether the ducts have been fitted with duct insertions. If a duct is inserted into the cabinet (see also Add duct insertion), this can be seen by the symbol in front of the corresponding duct: Pfeil_RA.png. If no duct insertion has been created, the duct name is displayed without a symbol. (5)
Note: The duct endings overview provides correct results only if the ducts that end in a cabinet have also been introduced into the cabinet via a duct insertion.
The forms of the respective trenches open when you click on the mceclip0.png or mceclip1.png button. (6)
 Cabinet data The cabinet data managed for the cabinet in the point form is displayed.
Information about the cabinet can be stored. (7)
 Details The number of terminators/closures is displayed. Clicking on the mceclip1.png button opens the corresponding point forms for the terminators/closures or with mceclip2.png all terminators/closures of the objects in the filter. (8)
The number of duct insertions is displayed. Clicking on the mceclip1.png button opens the corresponding forms for the duct insertions or with mceclip2.png all duct insertions of the objects in the filter. (9)
The number of fittings is displayed. Clicking on the mceclip1.png button opens the corresponding forms for the fittings or with mceclip2.png all fittings of the objects in the filter. (10)
Documents This displays whether documents have been attached to the form. (11)

 

The terminators/closures assigned to the cabinet and the associated cable sections are displayed in a tree view in the “Terminators/Closures” tab.

1. The name of the cabinet is displayed.

4. The fibers of the corresponding cable sections are displayed.

Menu items

A Connection Overview can be displayed via “Network exploration”.

The rack schema can be drawn and the duct endings overview and the forms for the labels created can be opened via the “Overviews/Reports” menu.
